From the mountaintop elopement to the lakeside gathering, this seasonal styled shoot was an adventure from beginning to end. Amy and Joel hiked arm-in-arm through the tall pines and flowing streams up to the peak of Sugarloaf Mountain, where the surrounding landscape displayed an array of autumnal color. Heartfelt vows were exchanged before making their way to a cozy, intimate reception on the sands of Lake Superior. With a billowing, lace-sleeved gown and windblown hair Amy and Joel made their way along the shore. The two were greeted with the warmth of flickering candles, soft throws, and textured pillows. Mauve and blushed-toned details adorned the seated reception and paired well against the ivory sands. Organic florals with foraged elements married the rugged landscape and delicate details together seamlessly. This elopement styled shoot reflects a couple with a heart for adventure and a vision for day infused with natural, romantic elements.
