To celebrate the woods + water of the Northwoods, to create a community of creative women, and to cultivate inspiration for the seasons to come.” – This is what the retreat website reads.

It took little to no convincing to sign me up for a weekend like this. In a season of life filled with running, going, and doing, a weekend to slow it down was just the thing I needed. We filled our days with wine and cheese tasting, tacos, s’mores around the fire, morning swims, coffee on the water, hiking, a hand lettering workshop, kayaking, lakeside and lakeside yoga. Best of all, we filled these three days with sweet new friends, laughing around the fire, and dreaming up new dreams. Scroll on to feel all the good feels for yourself.
