A change of scenery can be so good for the soul.

So when Val messaged me about shooting their engagement at Devil’s Lake State Park I signed right on up. This session was filled with all of the things that makes my photographer heart happy – rocky rugged overlooks, tall pines, a shoreline or two, a couple genuinely excited to be in each others arms, + the absolute dreamiest summer light I could’ve ordered. Bonus points for a “heels to hiking boots” transition midway through our time together. The result of this all? One of my favvve sessions to date! Could not be more excited for Val + Henry’s big day this summer at Abloom Farm!
